What a wonderful experience at The Crystal Bridges museum in Bentonville! We visited the special exhibit "exquisite creatures". None of these animals/creatures are killed by the artist - he gets them all from zoos, aquariums, etc. after they've passed naturally and through his brilliant mind makes these up close and personal pieces. He uses no die or coloring, they are sealed with no air for preservation and it's just phenomenal. It's a must see!
Information on tomorrow's (April 10th) trip to Crystal Bridges for Gifted and Talented students who have turned in permission slips and met qualifications:
No money will be needed, lunch is provided by Crystal Bridges and alpha-gal/lactose
Intolerant provisions have been made for those needed. There IS a gift shop but only if students have money can they go inside with their designated chaperone. We will be divided into groups and each group has at least one sponsor/adult. NO ELECTRONICS allowed on the trip. No backpacks allowed inside the museum but will be allowed on the bus with water bottles or whatever needed, but again- they don't HAVE to bring anything and can NOT bring electronics of any kind. Reminder- The Mobile Health Unit is here today until 3:30 pm. This is a great time to get immunizations updated! Paperwork does need to be filled out. This can be done at the mobile unit or the front office. You may also request it to be emailed to you.
They will be closed 11:30-12:30 for lunch.
Attention 8th Grade Parents:
We are needing pictures for the slideshow at graduation. We need a baby picture, childhood picture and an 8th grade picture. We need these pictures turned in by Friday, April 26th. You can email them to abiederstadt@maryetta.org, give them to your students to upload, or send in the hard copies to scan.
Maryetta Preschool Pre-Enrollment today, in the Preschool Lobby from 9:00-2:00 pm. Please bring Birth Certificate, Updated Shot Record, Social Security Card and Tribal Membership cards.

26 SCHOOLS 1028 PARTICIPANTS!!!!! It was a long demanding day and our Maryetta Staff and Student Workers met the task and came through like a Champ. A few bumps along the way but they were handled professionally. Thank You to everyone. I hope you all have a great weekend...... YOU HAVE EARNED IT!!!

The MOBILE HEALTH UNIT will be at Maryetta School on Monday, April 8th, from 9:30am to 3:30pm to give vaccines. To be eligible for these services, your child must meet ONE of the following criteria:
*have Soonercare
*be Native American
* does NOT have any insurance
AND they MUST have a signed consent form.
If your child is needing a vaccine, please fill out the attached forms and send back to school before Monday.

We are two weeks away from the Bow ties and Tiaras Dance for 1st-5th graders and their family. The cost is $25 pre-admission or $35 at the door. Cost covers two people. The dance is FRIDAY THE 12th from 6-8. I hope you can all come out and join the fun.

These students did a fantastic job of representing Maryetta tonight. They were selected and played in the Rising-Stars All Star game at the Dome in Okmulgee. I'm very proud of them and their accomplishments this Season!
It was a great day for baseball today as The Maryetta Raiders opened up their season against Stilwell. The Raiders won the first game 7-4 and the second game 8-1. Awesome job boys! GO Raiders!
