Monday Aug. 28th - 7/8th practice until 4:15
Tuesday Aug. 29th - 7/8th practice until 4:15
Wednesday, Aug. 30th - 7/8th Practice until 4:15
Thursday, Aug. 31st - 5-8th Game @Briggs games start at 6. Bus will leave at 4:55.
Friday, Sep. 1st - 7/8th practice until 3:15.
ATTENTION FOOTBALL FANS:
There has been a TIME CHANGE for the football games at Briggs onThursday(8-31-23). The 5th/6th game will be at 6:00pm and the 7th/8th game will be at 7:00pm.
Come join us for Family Engagement & Literacy Night on SEPTEMBER 7TH. It will be held in the Old Gym from 5:00pm-6:30pm and there will be lots of fun happening!

We need your help! The gifted and talented students 1-5th grade (last year's list, new screenings and referrals coming soon) have entered a contest through the State of Oklahoma called "Uncapped". This is a recycling and creativity/writing contest utilizing bottle caps. Anytime you have a bottle of water or soda, save those lids because we will use them to make a work of art from plastic bottle caps! You can drop off bottle caps in the elementary library or in the 4H room next door. We will collect them until Sept. 18th and then we will begin our project!

It's that time of the year again! School pictures will be on Wednesday, August 30th. Picture forms will be sent out today.
Due to the excessive heat warning, the cross country meet that was scheduled for today at Tahlequah (Early Tiger) has been canceled.
Parents & Guardians, Maryetta AWARE has partnered with OSU Center of Family Resilience to bring you PAX Tools Training. Multiple times and dates are available through Zoom.
The Rocky Mtn. Softball Festival, that is scheduled for the 23rd-25th, has been canceled due to weather conditions.
Today's softball games with Rocky Mt have been rescheduled for next Monday the 28th at 3:00. We will play Grandview tomorrow at 9:00 am. It will be 7/8 only. I apologize for all the changes but we are trying to put the safety of our kids first.

Due to extreme heat, the 4th grade softball game that was scheduled for the girls tomorrow at Westville has been canceled.

Due to the extreme heat advisory for this week, we have made some changes to the athletic schedule. Football practice will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. tomorrow evening. Since 5/6 do not play this week, practice will just be for 7/8.
Just a reminder that Tomorrow's Softball game with Rocky Mt. will be moved to a 6:00 start time. 5/6 will play first followed by the 7/8.
We want to try to do everything we can to ensure the safety of our student athletes!
Due to the forecast of extreme temperatures of well over 100 degrees this week, many games and practices will be rescheduled for evenings and nights.
The 5/6th Softball games against Rocky Mountain set for Monday, August 21st will be played at Maryetta starting at 6:00 p.m. The 7/8th Softball game will follow immediately afterwards. Please watch for other changes moving forward!
Parents please encourage students to drink plenty of water and electrolytes this week. The school is taking additional precautions and moving recess and PE classes to our indoor facilities. Thank you for your understanding!

The 5th-8th football scrimmage with Dahlonegah that was previously scheduled for today, August 18th, was CANCELLED.
It's that time of year again. Future Raiders cheer is back! Sign up sheets have been handed out. Papers and money are due September 8th by 2:00. Cheer is the happiest sport on Earth. We hope you come out and join us.
