
Today was Cultural Day at Maryetta and among the fun and informative stations and presenters were our Maryetta JOM Creative Writing contest winners. They presented their pieces for family at 12:30 today. Very proud of these students and thank you to parents/family who came to hear them! Maryetta represented well! On Tuesday May 9th, all of the JOM Creative Writing entries and winning pieces will be on display in the old gym during Maryetta's Culture Day.
The winners will present their piece to parents in the Elementary Library at 12:30 on that day. So very proud of all our talented students!

Parents, the lost and found is set up in the old gym. Please be sure to come and look through it if your child has lost anything.
Don't forget, we still have yearbooks for $25. Please come by the front office if you would like to purchase one.

Third grade had an awesome time at the Tulsa Zoo this week! It was the perfect end to our habitat unit.











Due to today's rainout of the 1st through 4th intramural track meet, we will resume the competition on Monday. We will start back at 9:30 with the running and field events.

The 4th grade had an awesome time at Bike and Roll to School Day! They learned the importance of proper helmet safety and how to adjust their bike seats to the proper height.











The 5th grade had so much fun riding bikes at Bike and Roll to School Day! They learned how fun it is to ride a bike and get a good workout in at the same time! Great job guys!

We celebrated our phenomenal principal Mrs. Yell yesterday! She goes to the ends of the Earth for our kids/staff and she is greatly loved!




Students wanting to go to Summer school please turn your Summer school enrollment forms in by this Friday.

The 5th grade boat races take place at 9:00 am on Friday. The Kindergarten graduation will be at 1:00 pm Friday in the Activity Center. This will allow families to enjoy both events if necessary.

CHEROKEE NATION PHOTO ID EVENT
The Cherokee Nation Photo ID Event is taking place TONIGHT in the OLD GYM, beginning at 3:00pm. You must arrive BEFORE 6:30pm to receive services. If this is your first photo ID, it is free. If you lost your ID card and need a replacement, it is $5.00. If you are renewing your ID card, you can turn in the old card and get a new one for free.
Please bring a photo ID. Students will be able to get a card if they are with their parent or guardian ONLY. If it is a guardian, guardianship paperwork must be provided.
