Mrs. Jena Nelson, former Oklahoma Teacher of the year visited Maryetta today and gave a fun and informative presentation about deadCenter Film Festival, workforce development and a 3 minute film competition! It was a wonderful experience for our 6-8th graders and our 5th grade GT kids who realized Oklahoma is a thriving place for anyone interested in ALL aspects of film, writing, production, casting and the draw to the "dead center" of the US right here in Oklahoma!
8th Grade Parents,
We are still needing pictures from the majority of our class. We need a baby, childhood, and current picture ASAP.
On Wednesday, April 5th, we will be taking pictures of the Top 10 and any 8th grader who needs a current picture. They can bring extra clothes if they want to dress nicely.

MARYETTA SCHOOL INTENDS TO APPLY FOR 21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS GRANT
Cheerleaders will be hosting a Family Dance for 1st- 5th Grades. The cost is $25 prepay or $30 if you pay at the door that night. Admission covers one adult and one child. Money can be turned in to Ms Huval. Come join us April 13th and bring your dancin' shoes.
