EXTENDED CARE UPDATES:
Due to the water issues affecting our district, we will be closing all afterschool clubs and electives. This includes archery, ESports, Cross Country, Cherokee Club, Gifted and Talented, & Tutoring.
The Junior High classes will be moving over to the Elementary building today at 3:30. Please plan to pick up Junior High kids at the Boys & Girls Club doors after this time.
Extended care will close at 5:30, so all students will need to be picked up at this time.

The best night of the year is coming soon. The Bowties and Tiaras Family Dance sponsored by the Maryetta Cheer Squad will be April 11, 2025 from 6-8. Maryetta students in Kindergarten- 5th grade can come. The PREPAY cost is $25 for a family of three. The DOOR cost will be $35. Each extra person will be an addition $5. Sign up forms were sent home last week. Extras can be picked up in the front office. If you are looking for a fun night of dancing and door prizes then join us.
We are pleased to announce that Ms. Huval's class received a $1,000 Classroom Enhancement grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation, administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation! This grant help supply 3 major projects in her social studies curriculum. The first project completed was the Government project. For this project students created/voted for bills, wrote presidential campaign speeches, and participated in a mock election. The students were very engaged in discussion, when it came to creating bills for their recess playground. They had great ideas and learned a little about the process of bills becoming laws. They took part in a mock election for class president, and even got to vote and receive their "I Voted" sticker. If you are looking for an easy application process to enhance your classroom, I highly recommend the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation. Today’s games start at 4:00 with 5/6. It will be the travel teams suiting up. We will have the 8th grade night before the start of the 7/8 girls game. The 7/8 travel team will suit up for the game. Parents when you arrive let the worker at the door know and you get in free. I would estimate that you need to be there by around 5:30. Come back to the hospitality room when you get there so we can start getting you organized. Thank you
