The Maryetta SWAT team educated Mrs. Fuson's 3rd grade class on nutrition. They shared facts on healthy eating and the importance of drinking water.

Clifford the Big Red Dog visited Maryetta today! Every student received a Maryetta shirt, a couple of books to take home, & a goody bag! MERRY CHRISTMAS, RAIDERS!

Mrs. Yeager’s class recently read a novel “House without a Christmas Tree,” our STEM project was to construct a tree of 30 inches with given supplies. Kids choice award went to Travis Madden, Aiden Pettigrew and Madelyn Stanford. The class enjoyed making decorations like the characters in our novel.

Congratulations to our December Students of the Month and Raider Pride Winners! The Students of the Month were chosen by their classroom teachers because they consistently show that they are Responsible, Respectful and Ready to Learn. Our Raider Pride Winners were randomly chosen from Raider Bucks that have been submitted by students that were "caught being good". Congratulations to all of our winners! Reminder: The reception tonight for the Cherokee Nation JOM winners is a come and go reception serving cookies and punch. If you are not able to make it to the reception the gift cards will be available to pick up in the front office Friday, December 7th.

Congratulations to the following students for placing in the Cherokee Nation JOM Art Competition. They are invited to a reception, where you will be able to view artwork, take pictures and pick up your gift card. The reception will be held at the Cherokee Nation Ballroom, Thursday, December 6th from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The CN Ballroom is located behind The Restaurant of the Cherokees in Tahlequah, Ok. ***Please do not take artwork with you. I will pick up all of Maryetta Artwork and return it to the school. We will have an Art show at a later date. Service & Leadership raised approximately $1,700 to donate to the Maryetta Relay for Life team. This culminated in our annual Powderpuff game! The Maryetta SWAT members helped promote physical activity and a tobacco free event.
