Maryetta School will be hosting ORES basketball playoff games this year. Admission prices set by ORES are $6 per person. Maryetta teams will play their first round tomorrow, Saturday-January 29th. The girls will play Grand View at 5:00p.m. and the boys will play Grand View at 6:00p.m. All games will be held in the Eagleton Activity Center. Please come out and support our Raiders! GO RAIDERS!!

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE (DOJ) COPS GRANT AWARDED TO MARYETTA PUBLIC SCHOOL Maryetta School in Stilwell, Oklahoma is proud to announce that it was named the recipient of a COPS Grant for a school safety and prevention program. The intensive Security Approach For Everyone (iSAFE) Grant was awarded on December 2021 in the amount of over $496,000 of which includes district-matching funds. This multi-year grant will allow for school safety staff to be hired, updated video security systems, new interior and exterior security doors, and additional cameras around campus to be put into place. Thank you to all our community partners (Stilwell Police Department, Stilwell Fire Department, Adair County Sheriff Department, Mid-County Volunteer Fire, Cherokee Nation Marshall Service, Adair Co Emergency Management, Adair County Department of Human Services and the Oklahoma State Department of Education School Safety Division) for aiding in securing these funds!

Parents/Guardians, Maryetta School is following the latest CDC guidelines regarding returning to school after testing positive for COVID-19 or being quarantined. You must stay out of school for 5 days and can return on the 6th day if you have been symptom free for 24 hours AND can wear a mask for 5 days. If your child has tested positive or been exposed over the long weekend, please email Mrs. Yell at cyell@maryetta.org with the following information and/or contact your students classroom teacher: 1. Student name, grade and teacher 2. date of your child's positive test 3. date symptoms started 4. date they were exposed to someone positive with COVID-19 5. list of other Maryetta students in the household CDC recommends wearing masks, washing hands often and social distancing when possible to control the spread of COVID-19. Maryetta will be highly recommending all students and staff wear masks this next week. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
