Maryetta School Picture Day is tomorrow, Thursday, September 26th. All students (including Virtual students) will have the opportunity to get their picture taken. Please have picture money and order form sent with your student. If you miss this opportunity to order pics, you can order from the proofs on Ruth Kelly's website, when the proof sheets are sent home. Virtual student pics are from 12-1 in the Event Center or the Pre School Lobby.

These pictures must be pre-paid.
All VIRTUAL students will take pictures in the PRESCHOOL LOBBY from 12:00-1:00pm.
Virtual students will take pictures from 12:00-1:00 pm on Thursday August 26, 2021. Pictures will be taken in the preschool lobby.

Zion game is still on for today at Maryetta. 5/6 game will begin at 3:00 with 7/8 to follow. Tomorrow’s game time at Grandview has been moved up to 3:30 for 5/6 and 7/8 to follow after. Tournament Brackets for next week will be posted tomorrow.
In an effort to support all students who have suffered losses in their families, the counseling team at Maryetta will be offering in person and on line grief and loss groups. In person groups will be offered to students in 1st-4th grades, online groups will be offered to students in 5th-8th grades. Students or parents may get more information by using the Stop It app, asking their teacher or emailing the School Counselor at dweston@maryetta.org - Diane Weston, School Counselor
Football games on Thursday (Aug. 26) will be played at Maryetta instead of Justus Tiawah. Games start at 4:30.
Today's softball games for 5-6 and 7-8 grades will be played at Woodall instead of Maryetta due to construction conflicts. Games start at 4:00 p.m. The team bus will leave at 3:00 p.m.
Welcome to another great year at Maryetta! We have updated our family engagement & literacy nights calendar. Please plan to attend and participate! This year we will host virtual and hopefully some onsite events. Again, Maryetta is excited to visit with our families and see our students during these fun, informative, and interactive events!
3RD/4TH SOFTBALL
Due to construction issues, 5/6 & 7/8 grade softball games will be played at Woodall on August 23, 2021.
As a continued endeavor of Maryetta School to inform and mitigate against the spread of COVID please see the attached flyer from Cherokee Nation Public Health. Note that masks wearing, hand-washing and social distancing are the most proven ways to reduce the transmission of the virus. We appreciate all our families and want everyone to stay safe and healthy!
